Wolfson Group Expands PhenQ Availability as GLP-1 Use Surges Among U.S. Households

Wolfson Group, a Scotland-based international consumer wellness company, is drawing attention to the evolving weight management landscape in the United States, where prescription GLP-1 medications are becoming increasingly common while consumers continue to seek non-prescription alternatives. According to a June 2026 report from PwC, 21% of U.S. households included a current GLP-1 user as of May 2026, up from 9% in January 2025. This rapid adoption is reshaping how Americans approach weight management, creating a more diverse marketplace that includes nutritional products, fitness programs, and wellness brands.

Wolfson Group participates in the non-prescription weight management category through PhenQ, its established consumer wellness brand. The company recently expanded PhenQ’s availability to U.S. consumers through additional online channels, including Amazon and, more recently, OneLavi.com. This move reflects the company’s strategy to make its products more accessible while emphasizing consumer education and responsible communication.

The growing visibility of GLP-1 medications has brought renewed attention to weight management, but Wolfson Group stresses that non-prescription wellness products like PhenQ are distinct from prescription treatments and should not be viewed as substitutes. “The weight management market is evolving, and consumers have more choices than ever before,” said the founder and CEO of Wolfson Group. “Prescription medications have become an important part of the conversation, but nutrition, physical activity and everyday lifestyle habits remain central to how people think about managing their weight. Our focus is on serving consumers in the non-prescription wellness market.”

Wolfson Group’s portfolio extends beyond weight management to include cognitive wellness, gut health, and men’s wellbeing, with brands such as TestoPrime and NooCube. The company believes that as the marketplace evolves, clear information about different product categories and their intended uses will remain essential for consumers. Wolfson Group continues to pursue additional U.S. retail opportunities following its participation in the September ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
